What you learned about retirement may no longer be relevant in today’s volatile environment, and the steps your parents took to retire might not work for you. We compare former thinking with today’s circumstances and talk about preparing to retire in today’s rapidly changing economic environment. You’ll learn about the mistakes people make when they start taking income from their retirement nest egg, about what causes Social Security to be taxed, and steps to take in order to minimize or eliminate taxation of Social Security. Above all else, you’ll learn how to develop a custom strategy that’s just for you, to meet your personal objectives as you navigate a retirement world filled with new and changing headwinds.
